How do I view other Fuzzelove member profiles?

You are able to view other member profiles by using the search function. There are many ways you can search for FuzzeBuddies such as:

• Pet Breed: (e.g.) Jack Russell, Gold Fish, Tarantula
• Country: (e.g.) America, Portugal, South Africa
• State of City: (e.g.) Texas, Venice, Cape Town

What is a FuzzeWidget?

FuzzeWidgets are activity boxes that are displayed on your user profile. By clicking on the 'change your page layout' tab you are provided the option to customize the look of your user page by selecting only the widgets you would like featured. To add a widget, simply select it and drag it to the desired place on your profile. This function offers you further customization abilities by providing you with the option to left, centre or right align your chosen widgets.

How do I link my personal 'Facebook' and/or "MySpace" profile pages to my pet profile?

Simple! Open 'Facebook' or 'MySpace' and log onto your personal profile page. Copy the link displayed in the web browser tool bar. An example of what the link my look like is:

Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id-556 ..etc

MySpace: http://home.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction .. etc

Now simply paste the link from your Facebook or MySpace profile into the "Facebook Profile Link" or "MySpace Profile Link" text box under your profile in Fuzzelove.

What are FuzzeBuddies?

When you join Fuzzelove you are joining a community of people who share a common love for animals; it is therefore only a matter of time before you start making friends. FuzzeBuddies are those special friends that you want the closest to you.

What are FuzzeTreats?

FuzzeTreats are virtual gifts you are able to send to your FuzzeBuddies. There are a variety of treats to select from .These treats will be updated on a regular basis so please check back often for any updates. Send a FuzzeTreat and show some Fuzzeloving to your fellow Fuzzelovers.

What are FuzzePoints?

Every time you interact on Fuzzelove (such as simply logging in, sending a message etc.) you gain FuzzePoints. These points enable you to select FuzzeTreats to send to your FuzzeBuddies. The higher the points the more 'exclusive' treats you are able to send; so start interacting and begin accumulating those precious FuzzePoints

How do I join/ search for/ start a FuzzeBlog?

Select the Blog tab; on the left hand side of the page a Blog Menu is displayed which provides you options to begin your own blog, view your FuzzeBuddies blogs or view all Fuzzelove blogs.

Why are my photo's not being uploaded?

Please be are that most digital cameras take pictures in excess of 1.4MB. Pictures of this size are way too big to publish on the site. The average web photo is approximately 25k. In order to publish your photos on the site, please reduce the size by using a photo editor program to make them 'web friendly.

How do I report my pet as missing?

Log onto your pets profile, under 'Pet Health" click 'Missing' this will automatically place 'Missing' next to your pets picture on their profile page so that anybody who logs onto your pets profile will be made immediately aware that you pet needs help.

Next, scroll down the page and click on the 'Report Missing Pet' tab. A page will load and allow you to upload/ embed photos and/or video clips of your missing pet. You will also be asked for a description of your pet and the time and date they were last seen. We want to ensure that you and your pet are reunited as soon as possible we therefore have created a Missing Pet group and your missing pet report will be directly rerouted to this group to ensure that all members of the site are made aware that your pet is missing, The group is a constant feature ground and will always be displayed on the Fuzzelove home page.

How do I report my pet a deceased?

Log onto your missing pets profile and under 'Pet Health', click 'Heaven' this will automotically place 'Heaven' next to your pets picture on their profile page.

Next, scroll down the page and click on the 'Report Pet as Passed Away' tab. A page will load and allow you to upload/ embed photos and/or video clips of your dearly departed. You will also be provided the opportunity to write a few words and share some memories of your pet. Fuzzelove has created a 'Wall of Rememberance Group' to ensure that the momeory of your pet carries on forever. The group is a constant feature group and will always be displayed on the Fuzzelove home page.
